You don't have to go to University, but short-form explanations are accurately described by Karpathy as "[giving the ] appearance of education, but if you look closely they are really just entertainment". Fun has a larger audience than learning, so blogs are short.
I think to be useful to non-economists you need to explain how to interpret the graphs a little more, especially the last one.

I would classify myself as a non-economist and a post on the graph (as I’ve seen it several times before in earlier posts) would be very appreciated.
On a side note, I fully support these short-form explanations on topics I’d rather not have to go to university to learn.
